Bio-Gro New Zealand is the trading name of the New Zealand Biological Producers and Consumers Council Inc, formed in 1983. It is the registered owner of the BlO-GRO trademark and has developed a set of standards for organic production which are internationally recognised and respected.
Bio-Gro New Zealand is a member of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM), based in Germany. IFOAM is continually scrutinising and reviewing Bio-Gro systems to ensure compliance with the international standards.
